How to Style It: Summer Coats

A trench coat is a must-have staple, particularly for the transitional weather between summer and fall – a lightweight look that provides just enough coverage for when that crisp breeze kicks in. One can opt for a jean or cropped jacket to protect themselves from the elements, but I think a trench coat is not only iconic, but also makes for a far more fashionable choice whilst withstanding unpredictable weather.

Much like a camel coat, a trench coat oozes sophistication as well!

Hi Elle! I adore a classic trench! It’s one of those investment pieces that is worth having in your closet year round. I purchased a burberry coat on sale years ago and I find it’s still one of my favorite wardrobe pieces and very easy to style. Great post!! PS, I LOVE the Valentino shoes. Swoon!!

Yeah the Valentino rockstuds are everywhere – love them! And I agree w/ what u said about a trench coat being an investment piece! Quality over quantity applies when making this purchase!
