The “Ugly Christmas Sweater” Party

09 Dec

The Ugly Christmas Sweater

From parties to work events — it seems like the ugly christmas sweater is an item you simply must wear at least once during this holiday season.

Ranging from form-fitting to relaxed and baggy, dress up your christmas sweater with a pair of metallic pumps, and a stand out clutch for a look full of personality yet still maintaining a bit of polish.

I don’t know if that kind of sweaters are ugly or not, but I still don’t have one in my wardrobe… :))))

The more I look at it, the more I think it really isn’t so bad. You should definitely get one, even if you only wear it on christmas day among family/friends! 🙂

Yes, they are! They are very common as “Office Parties” or “OfficeCompetitions or just plain ol’ Ugly Christmas Sweater Competitions” as in who can wear the ugliest christmas sweater for a prize. lol Some people host them as causal events as well just to get into the christmas spirit.

Hi Elle – wow, you sure know how to make a ‘ugly’ sweater look so chic and polished. I adore the metallic heels and skinny jeans combo! ‘Ugly’ sweaters seem to be a huge hit at parties every year around this time. Most sweaters I see are hideous, but your pick is too cute! Great post! xx Lauren http://www.ginnysclosetblog.com
