From parties to work events — it seems like the ugly christmas sweater is an item you simply must wear at least once during this holiday season.

Ranging from form-fitting to relaxed and baggy, dress up your christmas sweater with a pair of metallic pumps, and a stand out clutch for a look full of personality yet still maintaining a bit of polish.

What To Wear To A Holiday Office Party (Part 3)

Effortlessly Chic: Jumpsuits

So this week I have been suggesting looks that would be great for a holiday office party — in this third (and final edition of the series) I’ve landed on jumpsuits.

Whether in the completely elegant wide-leg jumpsuit by Ralph Lauren, the straight-leg satin collar jumpsuit by Xscape, or the sequins embellished jumpsuit by R&M Richards, look effortlessly chic and impeccably put together in this wardrobe staple at your next holiday office party.

What To Wear To A Holiday Office Party

The holiday office party is one of the trickiest events to plan for each year. You want to dial-up your look a bit given the holiday season, while still maintaining your professionalism. Are you planning on going to the office holiday party this year? Stumped on what to wear? For inspiration check out the two looks featured below.

Festive embellishment

Embellished with tiers and tiers of feathers — a feathered skirt is fun and full of personality! Pair this festive piece with a plush pastel sweater, a box clutch, and metallic pumps.

Holiday Office Party: Festive Embellishment

Classic & Elegant

Super flattering and super feminine, an A-line tulle skirt makes for tasteful and refined option. Team with a fitted top to balance the fullness of the skirt (which also works with a pair of metallic pumps).

Hello Good Buy: Over-the-Knee Boots

Hello Good Buy: Over-the-Knee Boots

Over this past weekend I got the shock of my life when my quick-witted, compulsive shopping aunt (Donna) came to visit me. I was very happy to see her — after I got over the initial astonishment of finding her in the lobby of my building!!

We went out to eat a couple of times but we spend the bulk of our time together laughing and shopping, specifically at Macy’s. I know most people will wait ’til Black Friday (or for the doorbuster sales starting after Thanksgiving dinner) to do their holiday shopping.

However, if you wish to avoid the obscene amounts of people who are sure to be out Thursday night and all of Friday, there are really great deals available now. I was in desperate need of a new pair of boots, so we browsed Macy’s footwear department for a while but it didn’t take very long before my aunt spotted the Nine West over-the-knee boots (featured above) that she bought for me . They’re the perfect casual everyday boot, in a great neutral color — thanks aunt Donna! 🙂

I definitely recommend checking out what’s happening at Macy’s

What To Wear: Thanksgiving Fashion Ideas

Color of Fashion: Aurora Red "Part Deux"

So next week Thursday is Thanksgiving (a.k.a kickoff of the holiday season), and not unlike a Thanksgiving menu what you wear is so very important, as one can expect an obscene amount of picture-taking to occur on this day.

Not sure what to wear? Well whether you’re packing your bags and flying home for a traditional dinner with your family (or maybe with the family of your significant other for the first time), attending a work celebration which calls for a bit of sophistication, you’re hosting a casual potluck-style friendsgiving dinner, or going to a formal soiree — be inspired by these looks, varying in sartorial occasion in a color that (I think) is indicative of this time of year!

Would you wear it?
